Why Companies Outsource
Companies are outsourcing more than ever now. It's cost effective for them to do so.If they can get the same quality at a lower price it makes sense for them to outsource. They gain in flexibility and business focus, thus allowing the projects to be finished at a faster rate. They also outsource because they can't find the skilled professionals that they need locally.Risk management is another reason for going outside of a local area. The employees that they find are really good, professional people who are skilled at what they do, and they do it at a lower wage, which in turn reduces labor cost. There is also the fact that there is over regulation here, and the risk of lawsuits. Also, raw materials and supplies are in greater supply in other countries. India is the most popular country for outsourcing.
The people of India have a good education, are well trained in their professions, and the wages are much lower when hiring someone from India, either a single person, or a company to handle the outsourcing needs. While the people in this country are sometimes angry and upset with the companies that outsource, to the company it is just good business sense. They are in the business to make money, and by hiring workers in other countries, they are able to do so.
